By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Program you can become one of 23 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 23 positions in the program is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year program with a strong focus on your development. You will have an individual development plan aiming at a targeted competence profile after two years and building blocks with learning goals towards that target. As part of the program, you can look forward to assignments/rotations providing you with opportunities to deliver tangible value.
Your role as a DevOps Engineer Integration Technology
You will join our strong international DevOps team, getting the possibility to work with multiple technologies for integrating systems and data. Being a combination of project work and operative support for solutions in production, this position offers a lot of variety and professional development opportunities.
Your daily activities:
Work in projects as an integration developer, implementing integration solutions in hybrid IT environment
Contribute to the quality, stability, and efficiency of our solutions by identifying and implementing improvements in technology and processes
Work in operational activities like analysis and resolution of incidents, review and deployment of changes, monitoring of systems

Graduate, or up to two years’ work experience
Strong background in IT (software) engineering
Keen to ‘learn by doing’
Able to handle a steep learning curve
As a Talent - DevOps Engineer Integration Technology you recognize yourself in the following:
You are a graduate, or you have up to two years’ work experience, with strong academic background in IT, Computer Science, Information Management, or other relevant field
You are knowledgeable in integration concepts, technologies, and systems for message-based integration, data integration, or stream processing integration
You understand the complexity and challenges of hybrid IT environments in the context of integration technology and IT systems hosted on-premises and in the cloud
The Integration solutions we deliver are mainly based on Microsoft technology both on premises and in the cloud, hence you should already have first practical experience with programming languages and tools which are commonly used in the Microsoft technology stack
You collected your first practical experience and successfully accomplished your first projects working with Microsoft Azure Integration Services
You are familiar with the DevOps concept and tools, for example Microsoft Azure DevOps for CI/CD

You will be working in the department of Integration Services and the locations for this position are Hamburg and Stockholm.
The IT & Strategy Talent Program is a kickstart to your career within Vattenfall. It will give you the opportunity to visit different parts of our organization, e.g., in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Denmark. There are planned weeks including personal development and internal leadership development from our Vattenfall Management Institute. Each position comes with a competitive salary and an excellent remuneration package
